i have been using kubuntu on my thinkpad for a while now with no video issues. then i disabled power saving. after that everyhing has just gone crazy with my video card. first i couldnt go over 600x480 (and i used to keep it in 1400x1050). then i treid messing around with the drivers and reinstalling them, now im getting a wierd half-garbage half-ok screen. ive been trying everything and i cant get it back to normal. any ideas? is there anyway i can restore the installation defaults?
