David Wonderly, aka Darkwing (here in KFN) is a Kubuntu Council member. He has offered his time and his ears to listen to and discuss your issues and concerns about the Kubuntu project and to bring those issues and concerns (as appropriate) to the Kubuntu Council. How cool is that?

That is great! Is this section for those discussions?

Thanks for intro Snowhog.

My goal here is to help bridge the gap between the developers and the community.

I know that we tend to live in a bubble somewhere and if I can help the community understand why things are done from the developers, I can also take the wishes and concerns of you guys to the developers this way, everyone has a voice in the process.

So please, Ask your questions. Voice your concerns. :D

Just start a thread and be a voice. The Developers and the rest of the Council are VERY interested in seeing how much better we can make Kubuntu. We can only do this with your help.

I wonder if its worth creating a "Kubuntu suggestions" subform or is there a better place to voice these?

That's what this forum (Round Table Discussions) is for. It's why it was established.

That's really good. That gap has become a chasm for other desktops.

Is it my imagination, or have some posts on this thread disappeared?

Attention,

Please ignore my above post. I apologise, that is what happens when you don't look and see that the whole section has been enlarged. Thank you administrators, good job. This section WAS getting a little unwieldy with just one thread.

thanx,
