Hi...

We simply need more information to work with than what you have provided. First, please post the results of...

By "update," do you mean after you upgraded the OS from a previous version, like 11.04, or do you mean updates just within 11.10?

Hi...

Thank you. You might be able to use the workaround given here. (http://ubuntu.igameilive.com/2011/11/temporary-problematic-bluetooth-fix-in.html) I also found this page (http://askubuntu.com/questions/66529/how-can-i-get-my-bluetooth-adapter-working-on-a-toshiba-satellite-m645) with a reference to the "Blueman" package, which also may help. Another option is to try installing 12.04 from scratch when it's released next month, or go back to 11.04. I'm not sure what else to suggest, otherwise. http://www.desismileys.com/smileys/desismileys_1730.gif

Thank you for your help.
The workarounds didn't help, though.
Maybe it will be fixed on 12.04...
