Christmas 1983, IIRC. I get a touch of nostalgia this time of year.

Very cool! I loved my Commodore 64 and REALLY wish I still had it, knowing what I know now (about computing) versus what I knew when I had it. My husband has never owned up to it, but I believe he tossed it out when we were preparing to move from one house to another. I know it was out in the garage at the old house--and had just been sitting there (in its original box) collecting dust--but, years later, when I got the urge to bring it in, it hadn't made its way to the new house. :'( I KNOW I didn't throw it out, and our daughter wouldn't have without asking, so that only leaves one suspect! :o

Ha, ha...he WISHES that could be the case. He knows and I know who tossed it out, it's just that he's never acknowledged it. >:(

We husbands have this incredible sense of self-preservation, especially when it comes to owning up to one of our many screw-ups.
