Hi I've been playing with this for a while

I have an EasyCap DC60+ card that I bought to convert my VCR videos to DVD.

The current status I can now get video with VLC (It actually works OOTB once you know the setting to use ;)) but the audio component doesn't work. In getting to this stage I had considerable assistance here

http://linuxforums.org.uk/linux-tips-tricks/pinnacle-hybrid-tv-tuner-pctv-330e-in-ubuntu-10-10-maverick/new/?topicseen#new

I do have good sound using a little USB Sound card and a 2 RCA into a 3.5mm jack but it would be nice the card could be made to work - although I can't see anyone who claims success anywhere.

When the card is plugged in kde kmix recognises it as an audio device , but I understand the issue is thrown up by this line when I run dmesg

[11160.012235] em28xx #0: Unknown AC97 audio processor detected!

I'm told that that may be an improper installation of the driver.

It's no big deal but if anyone has any thoughts as to what, if anything, I can do to get the audio bit of this card working?

TIA

Ian
