dell inspirion 1545 [Solved]

I am going to be putting 11.04 64 bit on this pc for a friend of my wifes.

is there anything about Laptops i should know ?


or is it pretty smooth like the desktop install

I have 1 of those :) but it's the wifes box and is runing win-7 ......however my live USB runs just fine on it ..........if you have the broadcom wireless you will nead a wired connection until you can get the drivers through the additional drivers utility (witch dose show as available)

should go smoothly ;)

thanx vinny it says it has the atheros chip set
it will be wired during install luckily for me this person wants to go the full kubuntu :-)
