hello
I'm very new to Linux (about a week) n in that time, Ive had nothing but problems trying to get it connected to my homehub. i checked everything.... mainly focused on my wireless card. one day while my homehub was rebooting i got bored waiting n decided to connect to a local BTopen wireless thingy. n it connected first time, which made me realise it must be something to do with the homehub directly. looking this up on google i found forums n forums all saying different things. all super hard to follow with lots of "sudo /ip /eth0" all stuff i know nothing about.

but in the end it was one thing that fixed it perfectly.. here it is for anyone else new to Linux with the same problem.
click the wireless/ found ya router/ add your serucity key (if you have one)/click manage connection\ find your wireless connection\click Edit\ click the ip address tab\ now just add a name to the DHCP Client ID (i picked anything)
n Booooooooom Connected n now works fine.

If that was Easy for all the hardcore Linux guys please feel free to laugh at me.... but I'm well happy over a week n finaly using Linux online..

yes my spelling sucks =-p :-D
