Lol,
I can't get this thing to run under Windblows XP! lol

It is an instructional cd for Win 3.1, 95, 98, NT and Mac, made somewhere around 1999.

I've tried it several times in several distros and got lackluster results.

It depends on QuickTime and guess what... I popped it into the tray and chose go to the file and hit run the cd as an .exe.

Now the curious thing here is that I could not DETERMINE if the thing was running as a "Quicktime" app or as a "Wine" app.

If it was running under Wine there was absolutely NO indication of it. It appeared to be "just running".

so....shows the power of present Linux in general and Kubu in particular! ;D

As a side note, what is "somewhat" more of note is that.....the thing is still noted under the umbrella site although it is not, apparently, available for sale.

Any comments as to whether it was running as a Wine app or a QT thing would be read with interest.

wile it is runing open top in a terminal and see if you can tell whats runing it.

though I would surmise it is wine if you told it to run as an .exe ;)

I did and saw QT active but not wine.

It may be that the .exe merely opened the interface and the rest of it was QT.

so don't know.

but thanks for the suggestion.

However, to the new Kubu user....he or she could care less as long as it runs! lol
