Somehow my son managed to lock himself out of his profile on the kids kubuntu box.
Using the GUI, when he tries to log on, you'll see the hard drive icon (the first of the five icons that appear), then the screen flashes, and send him back to the logon screen.
The other kids can log onto their profiles with no problem, and myself as admin have no problem loging onto my profile.
When I select " console logon" for him, the screen goes black (monitor loses the signal). The 45 seconds later I get the screen back.
Suggestions? I know I could set up another profile and press on, but I don't want to go back and reinstall everything for him.
