The package version of the Adobe PDF reader -
adobereader-deu - for Maverick is in German.
Is this the dawn of the new age of European dominance? (heh heh)
Of course, there is a perfectly usable Linux .bin installer available from Adobe...

You said "for Maverick"? ???
I have all the standard 10.10 repos, plus Medibuntu, Rog's repo, and probably another one, and there's no version of Adobe Reader shown available.

If you look further into the package list, you will see the "normal" acroread package. Dunno why Adobe gives these things different names :/
