Mobile Broadband Vodafone don't work

hallo everybody.
i am new here and i have a problem with kubuntu.
i cant connect to the 3G Internet with huwaei vodafone stick.
i run ubuntu 10.04 and work perfectly and very easy.
but i lie very much kubuntu ad i wont to try it out.
i have searched a lot but nothing helps.
please, can someone help?

I have the same situation with connection via Nokia N900. Log from KPPP saying:

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"
OK
ATM1L1
OK
ATX3
OK
ATDT*99#
CONNECT
~}#@!}!} } }2}#}$@#}!}$}%\}"}&} }*} } g}%~

... and still, repeating. It look that modem connecting again and again.

Connection via KNetworkManager never worked for me, but KPPP was OK in 10.04.

I am installed gnome-ppp into the KDE SC 4.5.4 and it is working without problem - so what can be wrong with KPPP?
