Touch-pad and wireless not working...

Hi, this is my first post here, please be patient with me. I just installed Kubuntu 10.04 on my netbook to my hard drive as a partition along with gOS 3.1 (Good OS, based on Ubuntu). I have an Intel Atom N240 processor, 1Gb of RAM, and an Intel GPU, I have no idea what my wireless card is. I am planning to switch permanently to Kubuntu because it looks like a great os.

I have a few problems though.
Firstly, I can't use the trackpad on my netbook, and I've had to use a USB mouse during the installation.
Secondly, I am a total newbie and I'm not sure how to connect to my wireless internet (I'm using gOS to post on the forum).
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not familiar with the touch-pad, but I'm sure someone will have a suggestion soon.
Regarding your network interface, you can get information by typing:
ifconfig -a
We can take it from there.
