View Full Version : Thunderbird Global Inbox (Smart Folders) failing

Hello,

I've set up multiple mail accounts on thunderbird, and the first couple of thunderbird uses were fine, the Global Inbox showed all accounts folders.

However, it suddenly stopped working.

Now when I open thunderbird, the global inbox folder is empty, even though the inbox folders underneath show the emails.

It's in a way that instead of showing the messages, it shows the thunderbird start page.

If I click on a inbox account (that shows up the emails in it) and then click again on the global inbox, the window pane goes blank, as if it were zero messages.

If I click on i.e. Local Folders, the main page appears for the local folders (with the option view settings, search messages, etc.).

Then if I click again on Global Inbox, the window pane still shows the previous main page for local folders.

So it's an issue that's just "remembering" the last situation, but if I click on a folder containing mail, the mail disappers, so not a total remember.

I cannot revert it.

What can I do to make Global Inbox in smart folders work again?
