Every time i start my KDE desktop i get this:

jetdrone@funstation:~/Downloads$ ps -ef|grep defunc

Any idea why?

As a guess I'd say that you are using an Nvidia chip and you are running nvidia driver 180.35. Try downgrading to 180.29.

Yes i am using a nvidia Quadro NVS 290, i had also a ati firepro v5700 but i could not get kwin to work with opengl effects. But what does nvidia have to do with nepomuk services?
