Yes. You need files of the various Commodore machines' ROMs. For the C64, for example, you'll need the C64's BASIC ROM, the Kernal (sic) ROM, and the Chargen ROM. For the Plus/4, you'll need the Plus/4's BASIC ROM, Kernal ROM, and 3-Plus-1 "Hi" and "Lo" ROMs. For hardware emulation of the disk drives you need yet further ROMs. You also have to inform VICE of their respective paths by editing .vice/vicerc or use default locations. Yep and as abalone has stated. Works great!

Sweet done that.. But i found it easier to install vice 2.1-1and64.deb which did all that for me...
