Post Karmic upgrade Cleanup?

I upgraded from jaunty AMD64 to karmic AMD64 over the internet. It had to download over 1700 files. The download of the files completed, but during the installation, at 80% complete, I got a kdesudo seg fault. I found a hung dpkg process and killed it. I then executed a,

sudo dpkg --configure -a

That seemed to complete the installation. Part of the upgrade process was a "Clean up" stage that got skipped due to the hang. How do I complete this "Clean up" stage?
