Amarok 2.2 Equalizer for Karmic?

I noticed in the RC that the equalizer section was greyed out. I read on a Debian mailing list that phonon-backends 4.3.1-5 was required to enable the equalizer. http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-kde@lists.debian.org/msg29851.html Will this make it to Karmic final? I was just playing with the latest Chakra live DVD with the latest phonon, and the equalizer was working.
