All my pictures in all files I opened with OO3.1 in Karmic disappeared. What a disaster! A fix after the fact does not help me with that.
In the latest version of Karmic Open Office is acting strangely.
I spent almost two days writing a chapter of my book, selecting pictures and inserting them into the text.
Saved the file on a memory stick and on a data drive.
this was before I went to a clean install of the latest version of 9.10 Beta.
When I opened the file, the pictures were all there.
I saved in (in ,doc).
Low and behold, when I opened the file again all pictures had disappeared leaving only a nice empty frame or space behind.
Two days of work lost. I saved the repaired file in odt. Now I am hoping that the pictures will be there tomorrow.
Anyone else with a similar experience?
