Hi,
I've just installed Kubuntu 9.04, and there's one problem, which is that, if I'm not connected to the internet, the first tiny part of the login sound loops endlessly, and no other sound plays. This problem wasn't there when I ran kubuntu from the CD, and also wasn't there on kubuntu 8.04. Any help much appreciated - I'm quite new to linux and not even really sure where to start looking.
