Adept not Functioning

I wiped my drive and installed Dapper Drake 4 - 64 bit. The install went perfectly, but Adept doesn't want to run. I get the password prompt, and then nothing. Any suggestions? It does tell me that I have 232 packages to update, and since Dapper Drake 5 is out that would make sense, but it won't run, which is rather frustrating - I wanted to install solitare!

I had the same issue with Adept. I put in my password and nothing happened. This is what I did about it. I went to a shell and typed in sudo apt-get install synaptic. Then I used the synaptic package manager to update my software till Adept is fixed.
