[SOLVED] HH KDE 4.0.5 sound "issue"

Running HH w/KDE 4.0.5 in Themed mode (Oxygen). System Notification sound isn't working. But, if I access System Settings as root and test the sounds, they all work. Playing DVDs with Dragon Player, the video works just fine, but no sound. I am a member of the proper groups:

paul adm dialout cdrom floppy audio dip video plugdev fuse lpadmin admin

I had working system sound, and the DVDs played with sound, within the past week or so. Anyone have any suggestions as to why sound appears to only be working for root and not myself? :P

Okay, no suggestions, :P , so I upgraded to KDE 4.1 Version 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1) and I have sound again! Yeah!!

I'm immediately impressed with this version over KDE 4.0.5, and I've only had it running for a few minutes! Cool. 8)
