[sort of solved]32-bits Firefox stoped working after this week's updates...

It still launches, but cannot access any webpages, 64-bit works fine.

I installed 32-bit FF exactly following this howto: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/AM...AMD64FlashJava then upgraded to Hardy.

I downgraded both Firefoxes to FF2 (using Adept), didn't help.

I'm honestly lost. Where to look, what else to do?

Disabling ipv6 helped... Wasn't that fixed in 7.10?

Question - - - Where and how did you disable IPV6

      - - - that might solve my problem with hard lockups

The search function here may be of help.

        Or this:
        http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3094035.0
HP Pavilion dv6 core i7 (Main)
        4 GB Ram
        Kubuntu 18.10
