I'd like to ask, what can I do to see specific Polish letters instead of "squares" in Konqueror? I tried to change codepage but the results were even worse. I have to add, that in the same distribution (5.10 live preview), but in OpenOffice all letters are visible. Maybe it's not very big problem, but now some Polish web pages are simply unreadable :cry:

Hi,

Hace you checked, if the font you have set for Konqueror support polish characters? Have you tried utf8 codepage?

Maybe installing "language-support-pl" and "language-pack-kde-pl" and "kde-i18n-pl" might help.

Yes, I tried UTF-8 and checked, if all the fonts I use support Polish characters (they can display Polish characters in OO). I hope, that installing "language-support-pl" and "language-pack-kde-pl" and "kde-i18n-pl" will help, but right now I'm using only "live" version and I'm not sure, if I can install those packages on ramdisk only...
