MY PC is gettin stuck sometimes wen i rotate cube..????

my pc is gettin stuck after some time .Why is this goin on????

I GET ALL THE EFFECTS(cube rotation,wobbly windows etc).....but after some time wen i try to rotate the cube its gets rotated slowly or it gets stuck why????


My pc config:::
1 gb ram.
3.0 ghz processor
p4 intel
256mb onboard ATI RADEON SERIES graphics card.

This can happen for various reasons. One is that compiz-fusion for kde is still a little bit buggy. The second is that if you have a lot of options activated and use them, your video card will be overwhelmed and time out. This brings me to the third reason. The ati drivers for certain radeon series chips are old and will not be supported in the future. So the only long term solution is to buy a new video card (if your MB supports it) if you want to use CF as a default.
