Need Help With Monitor

I just Downloaded And Installed Kubuntu. Install was easy and went by with no problem. But now it has my screen resoulution as this :70k/87Hz
I went to "Display" and it says its running at 1024x768@85Hz
What Must I do To repair this problem? Monitor is Dell E722p with Intel Accelerated Graphics Card.


(*Note: I had The opposite problem with Ubuntu, Screen ran @ 860x600 and couldn't change it)

try this command code in console


sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg


what that will do is a sort of autodetection of your peripherals (with your help of course) and it will give you the ability to reconfigure your monitor, mouse and keyboard settings.
