Auto link to page when follow email link

I may be missing something, but when I follow the email notification link to read my reply, I logon from there then I will be forwarded to the main page, instead of back to my posting page, can this be changed ?

I believe that happens more than just when you click the email link. I think it always forwards you back to the main page, however I am not positive because I stay logged in at all times. I will see if I can get/make a fix for that.
