media folder shortcuts gone

I just finished a fresh kubuntu install and browsed around the media:/ (Storage Media) folder, the list had "Floppy Drive", Both CD rom drives, and both partitions.

After I did an update with Adept, all the media devices are gone except for the floppy. What happened? how can I bring them back?

That has happend to me too. The CDrom comes up when I have mounted it, but I don't have any partitions showing (don't know if I ever had). If someone knows how to add new media here, let us know.
