Microsoft driver for Linux?

Hey All

I know this question almost answers it itself, but still... I'm using a Microsoft Trackball on my computer, which, until very recently, ran Linux. Now, can I kiss a driver (and therefore configuring my buttons) goodbye, or can I somehow make or find one?
By the way... I'm NEW!
