I just uninstalled Windows 98 on a computer and am about to install Kubuntu. However, I want to know, how much disk space does it take up? This is an old computer, and I don't have too much compared to today's standards.

How much you have BTW? 10GB HDD is enough.

Even less is OK. I have a full installation (word programs, a few music CD's ripped, 1150 packages installed with apt, gimp, nvu, Firefox, Eclipse, java, flash) and I'm only using a hairline over 4 GB
