How can I erase a DVD-RW? I've tried with K3b but it refuses to do it.

I just solved the problem. I booted into windows and erased the DVD-RW there.

It is sad when a user has to boot into another OS to do a trivial task like that.

In my K3b, there is no such thing as a "erase DVD-RW" button. There is a "erase CD-RW" button which doesn't do nothing to DVDs and a "Format DVD-RW", which doesn't do nothing to an already filled DVD. :-[

I'm also running K3b 0.12.2 and I've tested the "Format DVD-RW" functionality before I posted here. It doesn't erase a DVD.
